We are pleased to inform you that T. A. Smith insurance approved building contractors work with AMPM Loss Adjusting Group Ltd who are a firm of FSA registered Chartered Loss Adjusters working for you the public and not the insurers(opposed to the Loss Adjuster/Claim Handlers appointed by your insurance company who will work to protect their interests).
Once you sign AMPM€™s insurance mandate AMPM will handle the insurance claim on your behalf heading a team of qualified, professional and time efficient specialists insuring you get 100% of your claim entitlement. If you choose to deal directly with the loss adjuster appointed by your insurance company, and if your claim is accepted; over the next few days, weeks or months you will either be expected to act as a quantity surveyor, a project manager, obtain estimates and manage your chosen builder. You may also need to arrange alternative accommodation and apply for emergency payments etc. As you are not professionally qualified some items may end up being omitted from your claim; costing you money and stress. Alternatively your insurance company will simply tell you how much your claim is (in their opinion) worth and be forced to use one of the insurance companies €˜vetted€™ contractors, who may or may not be adequately qualified.
AMPM€™s contractor network are all authorised FMB members who work hand in hand with fully vetted local to you FMB Regional Project Managers. Thus AMPM can deliver the same exceptional level of prompt service to all domestic/commercial policy holders throughout the UK irrespective of location and claim value. You will only have to deal with one Regional Project Manager throughout your claim; who will explain, advise and oversee the works for you. On completion you will sign a completion document providing you are completely satisfied with the works. The advantage of using one of AMPM€™s vetted contractors is that as FMB Build Assured members their works come with a two year warranty which provides full protection if for any reason the contractor failed to complete or produced substandard works: The AMPM/FMB alliance has been made in order to stamp out €˜cowboy builders€™.
